For fans of double-sided bedding, these are built on a traditional Bonnell spring unit so they can be flipped without individual springs moving out of place. These are the beds we jumped on as children ~ better than a trampoline, especially since our parents told us not to do it!

Beds built on this type of spring unit transfer more motion than free-floating encased coil designs. As we age, it typically becomes more difficult to achieve deep sleep (plus we get out of bed more often at night) so motion transfer between partners is another feature to pay attention to while shopping as a couple.
